DONATIONS

Your contribution goes directly to supporting our initiatives on the ground. We have no paid staff and no overheads apart from minimal unavoidable costs – such as small bank fees when sending money overseas, and the subscription for our website and domain. We’ve deliberately kept our operating costs as low as possible so that your contribution has the greatest possible impact.
Yes, all donations over $2 are tax deductible within Australia. You’ll automatically receive a donation receipt from PayPal Giving Fund when your donation is processed, which you can use for your tax records.
Donations are securely processed through PayPal Giving Fund, which forwards your contribution to Jacob’s Vision and issues a tax receipt. We’ve chosen this method to minimise administrative costs as there are no platform or transaction fees for registered charities like us, ensuring more of your donation goes exactly where it’s needed.

Yes. Jacob’s Vision is a registered charity with the Australian Charities and Not-For-Profits Commission (ACNC). You can view our profile on their website here.

Jacob’s Vision was originally established by the founding directors of Lazer Safe Pty Ltd, a Western Australian company, as part of their commitment to giving back to the global community. In its early stages, the foundation operated under the name “The Lazer Safe Foundation” and was supported by Lazer Safe’s resources and infrastructure – including its mailing address.
Today, Jacob’s Vision is an independent entity and is no longer under Lazer Safe’s operation. As the foundation does not maintain a physical office, the original address has been retained for administrative continuity and charity registration requirements.
