ORPHAN EDUCATION & CARE PROGRAM

REAL LIVES, REAL CHANGE

DR. EMMANUEL
MUKAMBO

“Most things that were just far-fetched dreams are now a reality and there’s surely much more to look forward to in life now.”

After losing his father at age eight, Emmanuel’s mother was left to care for nine children on her own. With little income and no outside support, his future was likely to be one of survival - not opportunity.

Instead, through funding raised by Jacob’s Vision, the AFE centre was able to provide daily meals and full educational support for five years of primary school, five years of high school, and six years of medical school.

Now, he’s a qualified doctor ready to transform the lives of others. Instead of selling fruit on the street, he’s now saving lives and shaping the future of public health in his country.

If he chooses to have a family one day, his impact will continue through them. With education, stability, and informed choices, he’ll be able to create a home where opportunity is the norm - setting off a ripple effect that can shape generations.

This isn’t a quick fix. It’s real, permanent change - one child, one future at a time.
